Cakes, Cows and Instagram Story Apps – May Favourites

May has been a slightly stressful but beautifully warm month.

We finally sorted out a school placement for our son who starts reception this September and got offered a place at a school that we are happy with (after the 3rd application!). Happy is an understatment, we’re over the moon with where we’ve finally managed to get him placed. However, this now means that his school is some 15 miles away from where we currently live. So, we’re trying to move, ASAP.

Despite the little stresses, there’s lots to be grateful for. Here’s what’s brought me joy over the last month:

SkinnyBakery

Who doesn’t enjoy cakes?! The lovely folk over at SkinnyBakery gifted me a massive box of treats which arrived today. This included cakes, cookies and meringues!  I’m particularly enjoying the Skinny Chocolate Pearls (208cals per pack) and the Skinny Carrot Cake Pearls (194 cals per pack). Although, I’m not sure it counts towards being healthy when you end up eating EVERYTHING all in the same day! OOPS!

The Cows by Dawn O’Porter

I finished this yesterday in just under a week – I couldn’t put it down. I love this book, it has everything! Possibly the best book I’ve read so far this year? Yep. Definitely going to pop it back on my shelf to read again at a later date.

Unfold App for Instagram Stories

I love this app for a clean minimalistic look. It’s easy to use and it’s free!

Suits

Ryan and I naturally started to re-watch suits the weekend that Meghan Markle and Harry got married. It’s so much better than I remember.

Liforme Yoga Mat

Lucky me! Ryan treated me to a new yoga mat. My poses have improved massively since using this.

BBQ’s

I think we’re on #4 for BBQ’s so far this month? Ryan loves himself a good BBQ.

Instagram’s Community

Instagram has been amazing this month. My followers have soared and I’ve made some fabulous new connections with some truly wonderful women.

What have you loved this month?

Here’s what I loved in April.
